Small swift antelope with heavily ribbed horns
Common in the east African savannah and grasslands.
Very fine specimen taken under license in Tanzania in 2006.
Superb taxidermy by Nico von Rooyen, South Africa.
Shoulder mount head turned slightly left.
Horn measurements (Rowland Ward method 7-a):
Horn length along front curve from base to tip 13 inches
Horn base circumference 4-3/4 inches
Overall size of the taxidermy mount:
Base 6-1/2 x 10 inches
Horizontal projection from wall to tip of nose 16 inches
Vertical height from bottom of base to tip of horns 28 inches.
