Poster is 20" x 30". Issued by the National Catholic War Council. According to the Southern Adventist University - McKee Library - World War One Poster Collection: “See Him Through” was one of many posters issued during World War I to encourage support of the war. This poster was commissioned by the National Catholic War Council in 1918 for the United War Work Campaign that ran from November 11 – 18 in 1918. During WWI, many Protestant Americans saw American Catholics as a “foreign body.” In response, American Catholics saw public support of the war as a way of gaining power and influence. The poster was designed by the American artist Burton Rice. This poster was created and reproduced as a lithograph at the time of its distribution."
There is a small tear at the bottom. The plastic sleeve is not included with the poster. Poster will be shipped in a protective shipping tube.
