The Southern Adventist University Library World War One Poster Collection describes this poster thus:
“Ring It Again” was one of many posters issued during World War I to encourage support of the war. This poster was commissioned by the United States government from Paul Stahr. Stahr was an American illustrator from New York and was known for his posters, book, and magazine covers. While the exact publication date is unknown, the poster was mostly designed and published in either 1917 or 1918.This piece depicts a colonial-era celebratory crowd in front of Independence Hall in Philadelphia, PA and uses an emotional appeal to patriotism towards soliciting financial support of the war effort. This poster was most likely created and reproduced as a lithograph at the time of its distribution."
