Original Autographed Cabinet Card Of Winston S. Churchill With Original Note - Framed

A beautifully framed cabinet card autographed by Winston S. Churchill. The cabinet card is signed in the photo "Haines" which was Reginald Haines, noted photographer, who did an original cabinet card of Winston Churchill. This particular card is a modified view of the original cabinet card, an image which was that of a young Churchill, possibly in his early thirties. Card reads at the bottom: "96G THE RT HON. WINSTON CHURCHILL ROTARY PHOTO E C " Which is over-signed by Churchill's autograph which is done in bold strokes in black ink. The card measures 5.25" x 3.25". The frame measures 10.5" H x 8.5" W. The card displays miniscule folds at three corners which do not detract from the image.


Although this signature has not been authenticated, the winning bidder will received a note card certifying that the document came from the personal collection of Joseph W.P. Frost signed by the currently owner (and cousin to Joe Frost) Ira Frost ,a world renowned bird carver whose signature itself will one day worth something.
