Two pieces. Water color painting of Pantheon, artist unknown, 16” x 12”. Lithograph Les Bouquinists de La Seine with Notre Dame number 99 of 280, artist R. Varia, wooden frame, 15” x 18”. See photos for details.

Interesting details about the west facade of Notre Dame shown in the lithograph: Construction on the west façade began under bishop Eudes de Sully starting in 1200, by the third architect and was continued by his successors, in particular Guillaume d’Auvergne, and after 1220 by the fourth architect. The North Tower was completed in 1240 and the South tower was completed in 1250.

Les bouquinistes de Paris are the traditional booksellers that have set up shop along key stretches of the Seine River for centuries.
