The house was originally built by the artist Marguerite Kirmse. She is well known for her dog illustrations. A couple of her original works were found in the studio and are included in this auction. There is also one of her etchings and books that were part of her library with Scottie dog bookplates created by her.

The pick up is in Bridgewater, Connecticut. The exact address will be emailed to winners prior to pick up. Pick up times are Saturday, October 22 and Sunday, October 23 from 10 AM to 4 PM ...view moreeach day. Items will not be transported to our gallery and must be picked up at the designated pick up times or shipping arranged. Winning bidders must bring help, if required, for large/heavy items and packing materials for smaller items.

You must contact the auction manager (text or call Jay at 203-558-7945), prior to the end of the in person pick up times, informing him that you require shipping. FAILURE TO DO SO, WILL RESULT IN YOUR PURCHASE BEING FORFEITED WITH NO REFUND.

If you would like to have your items shipped contact the BUSINESS & SHIPPING CENTER OF SOUTHBURY at 203-264-2240 or email them at: customer.service@businessandshipping.com. You will need to provide them with your winning auction dates, invoice numbers and lot numbers for shipping quotes. They are a shipping store and as such they charge fees for picking up items, packing and handling in addition to the carriers charges. Waterbury Liquidators receives no compensation for shipping and provides this option as a convenience to our customers. Shipping can be expensive.
