330 copies printed by Bruce Rogers at Harvard University Press, Cambridge, Massachusetts, May 1927. Marbled paper-covered boards with blue cloth spine. A presentation copy, inscribed “To Helen and Mason… with a Merry Christmas for 1937… from their friend and comrade in the education of youth,” and bears the bookplate of Harold Corbin.

This finely printed edition is an example of Rogers’ classic typographic design and craftsmanship, produced in a limited edition. The text reproduces Franklin’s influential proposal outlining the educational vision that contributed to the founding of the Academy of Philadelphia, which later became the University of Pennsylvania.
