Item Description

Hand colored engraving 'Tom getting the best of a Charley'. A night scene on the Hand Colored Engraving 'Tom Getting The Best Of A Charley'. A night scene on the east side of Temple Bar. Tom overturns a watchman's box, much to the alarm of the old watchman inside whose colleague raises the alarm. From Pierce Eganâ's Life in London; or, The Day and Night Scenes of Jerry Hawthorn. A work which was issued in monthly parts from October 1820 to July 1821. Framed and very good condition.

The pick up is in Bridgewater, Connecticut. The exact address will be emailed to winners prior to pick up. Pick up times are Saturday, October 22 and Sunday, October 23 from 10 AM to 4 PM each day. Please note, items will not be transported to our gallery and must be picked up at the designated pick up times.
