A notable early American edition of Cramer's advanced piano instruction series, this copy with pagination irregularities but otherwise very good. Not recorded in Imprints, though Imprints does list a "No. 2" of the same title in the 1820 volume (#906), dated 1827. The publisher's Broadway address and period of operation help establish the circa 1820 date. Of particular interest for the history of piano pedagogy in early America and the transmission of European teaching methods to the United States.
