Item Description

Barrel marked VF, STEEL, and 1864. Action marked 1863 and Remington. Stamped US on brass butt plate. Missing ramrod. Identified as a Remington Zouave from 1864. Stock condition is fair to poor due to damage to finish and small area of missing wood near buttplate. The rest of it looks to be in good antique condition and possibly restorable to shooting-capable.
