Treasure Deck Auctions LLC (herein referred to as TDA LLC) endeavors to describe all items as accurately as possible, and to provide clear photos for item condition to be reviewed in detail by the Bidder/Buyer. The descriptions provided are based on hallmarks and/or visible markings, signatures, stamps, labels, etc. No guarantee of authenticity or origin is possible unless the item is presented with a Certificate of Authenticity. All items are sold as-is, where-is, only only.
All items are secondhand and will show signs of wear and age. Significant defects captured during cataloging are noted in specific item descriptions, however, TDA LLC is not responsible for errors & omissions by the site, by the Consignor, hidden defects or other condition issues. Omission of information should not be construed as an indication that the item is without flaws. Bidder/Buyer understands that any questions regarding lots should be emailed to TDA LLC no later than 24 hours prior to the start of the auction, and prior to bidding, for a timely response.
Measurements noted in the descriptions are in inches unless otherwise noted. Rings are placed on a ring sizer. Measurements are as close to accurate as possible.
Storage is maintained in a clean, dry, insured and temperature controlled unit at no additional cost to the Bidder/Buyer. If items are not collected for pickup as agreed, or approved for shipment after two requests, items cannot be stored and will be considered as forfeited by the bidder, with no refund offered. Bidding privileges may also be suspended.
No International Shipping.
All items are typically available for shipping. If a lot is not offered with shipping, this will be noted in the item description. Bidder/Buyer agrees not to bid on an item if they cannot pickup a lot which indicates that shipping is not available.
The shipping fees are the responsibility of the bidder/buyer and applicable as posted, regardless of the hammer price, the number of lots won or the bidder/buyer location. Multiple lots will be combined for shipping to reduce packaging. Shipping fees include NJ Sales Tax of 6.625%. If you have a Tax Exemption certificate on file with Auction Ninja prior to the sale closing, taxes will not apply to your shipping fees.
Unless otherwise requested and agreed in writing, all packing is carefully done in-house and shipping is arranged through the most economical service available with the United States Postal Service (USPS) or United Parcel Service (UPS) within 3 business days of order payment.
SHIPPING CHARGES:
Our Shipping Charges are initially based on the total weight of the order. If the shipping weight is less than 2 pounds, your card-on-file will be processed automatically for the applicable posted shipping fee. (see next paragraph regarding pricing). If your total order is in excess of the posted fees, or requires additional packing/handling, you will be contacted by us with the shipping arrangements to approve the costs before your card is charged. *Important Note - This approval request will be submitted through Auction Ninja so please be sure you have the correct email address in your profile, and check your emails for our messages. After two attempts without response, orders will be considered forfeited and no refund will be offered. *
For all other shipping orders (2 lb or less), your card on file will automatically be charged for the applicable shipping fee indicated. This additional charge will appear on your Auction Ninja invoice as a separate Misc. fee, and will show under your credit card statement as "goods & services" for our postage and handling. Upon processing and shipping, you will receive a Shipping Notification with a Tracking Number from us through Auction Ninja.
Shipping & Handling Fees are as follows:
Packages up to 8 oz: $9.60
Packages 8.01-15.99 oz: $11.73
Packages 1 - 1.5 lb: $13.86
Packages 1.6 -2 lb: $15.99
Packages exceeding 2 lb or requiring additional packing/handling: pricing to be advised at time of packing
Tracking and insurance up to $100 value are included. Additional insurance will be invoiced at cost if requested and is suggested for orders with value exceeding the $100. USPS Signature Confirmation at cost ($3.70) will also apply to orders exceeding $200 or containing gold coins and/or gold jewelry.
Bidder/Buyer is responsible for ensuring the address and telephone number on the Auction Ninja profile are complete and current. TDA LLC is not responsible for any delays, losses or costs associated with delivery issues resulting from incomplete or incorrect information provided by the Bidder/Buyer on their AuctionNinja profile.
TDA LLC is not responsible for any delays, losses or costs associated with delivery issues by the nominated courier service.
Driver's license/other valid government-issued photo ID is required for all pickups for New Customers. A signature will be required to confirm the pickup and a digital copy can be emailed or texted to you.
Bidder/Buyer bears responsibility for appropriate labor, vehicle, and packing material if necessary.
Pickups do not require an appointment, but are only available during the days and times noted on the auction. If you are unable to arrange to pickup during the posted schedule, please contact us in advance of bidding to see if other arrangements could be made. Keep in mind that shipping locally is usually a cheap alternative, and sometimes costs less than the gas to travel for the pickup! And, with shipping arranged within 3 days of your payment, it's also a convenient and faster alternative to in-person pickups. (Although we're just as happy to see you in person, of course.)
Payment: If Bidder/Buyer's initial payment is declined, an alternate card for payment may be accepted for up to 2 business days. If payment is still not completed, the item(s) will be offered to an under-bidder for immediate purchase.
Any item(s) not collected for pickup as agreed, or where shipping approval is not received after two requests, will be considered forfeited and no refund will be offered. Bidding privileges may be suspended.
Payments can be made only by credit/debit card on file with Auction Ninja. Within 24 hours of the close of the auction, the card will be automatically debited by AuctionNinja.com for the hammer price of all items of which you were the highest bidder, plus the Buyers' premium and NJ sales tax (unless exempt) which will be added to the full purchase price, including the Buyers premium. Should shipping charges need to be calculated, a separate charge will be added to the invoice and an updated copy will be available on your Auction Ninja dashboard. Shipping fees will show up as a Misc. fee from Treasure Deck Auctions LLC as Goods and Services.
Treasure Deck Auctions LLC is required to collect 6.625% New Jersey Sales Tax from all Bidders/Buyers (unless otherwise exempt), because the lots are in New Jersey and the sale takes place in New Jersey. Sales tax is not based on the State of the buyer/bidder. TDA LLC will collect and remit all Sales Tax to the State of NJ with no cost or benefit to the Seller or TDA LLC. Sales Tax is applicable on shipping, unless otherwise exempted.
Tax Exempt - if you have an exemption, the required form must be provided to Auction Ninja and be on file PRIOR to bidding in our auction. Sales Tax refunds are not permitted once charged. Bidder/Buyer is responsible for Exemption compliance, TDA LLC does not process exemption certificates on this platform.
RETURNS/CLAIMS
No claims will be allowed 2 calendar days after receipt of item via shipping.
If the wrong item is (unlikely) received, TDA LLC must be notified within 1 business day to approve returns and provide instructions and shipping label.
In the event a shipped package is damaged in transit, claims must be filed with the United States Postal Service (www.usps.com) or UPS (www.ups.com) directly. Please take photos of the package prior to opening, as well as the interior and contents, in order to file a claim.
No claims or returns will be considered for items signed and picked-up from the designated pickup location for the closed auction.
Business hours: Monday - Saturday, 9am - 6pm EST. Closed Sundays (unless an Auction or Estate Sale is Live) Detailed schedule or closings can be found on our main website. We remain open during auctions until the last lot is closed.

We have a live-chat option through our main site, www.treasuredeckauctions.com. During auctions, and during regular business hours, you'll receive a response the same day. During overnight hours or holidays, please note responses will be delayed. Remember, questions about an item you intend to bid on should be sent no-later-than 24 hours before the auction starts closing, and prior to bidding.
TDA LLC is a subscriber to Software as a Service provided by Auction Ninja, who maintains the website www.auctionninja.com. For any issues with your Bidder account, or if you experience issues during an auction, you must contact Auction Ninja directly.

What is a Buyer's premium? A Buyer's premium is a percentage-based fee added to the winning hammer price. This helps cover the auctioneer's expenses and administrative costs, handling fees, credit card fees, etc. and will vary per region and per auction house. Ours is currently 20%.
Do you ship? Yes, only within the USA (No International Shipping). Unless otherwise noted on an item, each lot will have in-house packing and shipping via USPS and UPS. Please check each auction for specifics and review the Shipping section in our Terms and Conditions.
