Vintage 1950's Brown Leather Samsonite Streamlite Hardshell Suitcase

Vintage Hard Shell Leather Accents, Gold Tone Metal
A Samsonite hard-sided "Streamlite" suitcase. This rugged suitcase is the smaller 21-inch model produced in the 1940's thru the 1950's by the Shwayder Brothers of Denver Colorado.

The reddish-brown outside shows age appropriate signs of wear such as scuffs and scratches, however, the stitching is good and there does not appear to be any dents. The gold tone latches function properly (no key included) but they also show signs of use with scratches in the finish.

Inside, there is a fabric divider for separating the two compartments and a pair of cinch straps. There are areas of discoloration and very slight staining, however, there are no rips or tears.

Notes: good - slight vintage wear and tear nothing major to exterior.
