"The Combination Tray" By Henry Loveridge & Co.

"The Combination Tray" is of rectangular form, with a pierced brass gallery and twin handles on either side for ease of transport. The japanned tin surface is coated with a dark varnish, a popular Victorian technique to ensure durability. The inclusion of a mother of pearl inlay adds elegance. The underside bears the stamp of Henry Loveridge & Co. with a registered design mark for 1882.
