Standard Model A Tabletop Phonograph

The Columbia Standard Model A is a vintage tabletop phonograph, an early device to play vinyl records. The base cabinet is crafted from wood, likely oak. The metal plaque affixed to the cabinet reads: “Standard Model A, Standard Talking Machine Co., 800 Monroe St. Chicago.” The large horn, painted in a vibrant red hue, resembles flower petals. On the side is a hand-cranked winder to power the turntable. Sold as is.
