Maori Tribal Mask Collection

The mask on the left is a powerful representation of a Tiki face, featuring deep grooves and symmetrical patterns. The pronounced eyes and open mouth with visible teeth suggest a guardian role, meant to ward off evil spirits. The repetitive wave-like carvings above the eyes could symbolize water or connection to nature, highlighting the Maori people's reverence for natural elements.
