Japanese Authentic Okina Kokushiki-jo Hakushiki Mask

This is an authentic Japanese Okina Kokushiki-jo Hakushiki mask, a traditional Noh theater mask that represents an old man with a joyful and wise expression. The Okina mask is unique in Noh theater for its sacred significance and is often used in ceremonial performances to convey blessings and longevity.

The mask features a gold-painted face with deeply carved smile lines and an open-mouthed expression that suggests laughter and benevolence. The white hair accents, including the eyebrows, mustache, and beard, add to the portrayal of wisdom and age. The craftsmanship is evident in the smooth contours and attention to detail, capturing a serene yet lively expression.
