George III Inlaid Mahogany Serpentine-Fronted Sideboard

Notes: This sideboard with its serpentine form, and drawers flanking a central drawer above a shaped apron, and based on square tapered legs with spade toes. This example is notable for the finely figured mahogany veneers and use of unusual woods in the crossbanding and inlaid panels on the front and top. Intricate inlay on face and top surfaces. Hidden storage along underside rear as shown in photo. Light wear to the bottom of the legs.
