Sterling silver bowl with floral etching by Gorham, American sterling silversmiths, as evidenced by the maker's mark on the bowl's underside. The bowl features a wide, open top that narrows down to the base, which is lined with vertical ridges. An etched design, of blooming flowers and their leaves, adds an artistic element. Dated to the 19th century. It has tarnish on its surface consistent with age and usage.
