Founded in the late 1800s, Chesapeake Pottery was known for its majolica pottery, with the Avalon Faience line being one of their notable creations. This line featured monochromatic leaf and floral decorations trimmed in antique gold over a smooth off-white background.

Flowers and leaves are raised on the pitcher, markings on bottom.
Some discoloring on top as shown, over good condition.
