Pair Of Porcelain Hurricane Table Lamps With Wooden Base

Pair of complementary porcelain hurricane lamps, each with a pleated white lampshade. The body of the lamps showcase a "reverse painted," or "Verre Églomisé" design – a French term that refers to the process of applying both a design and gilding onto the rear face of glass to produce a mirrored finish. These lamps are hand-painted in this unique style with scenes of exotic birds, butterflies and flowers. The lamps each require two light bulbs and are activated by pull tabs.
