A group of photos featuring Jimi Hendrix wearing the famous " Butterfly costume . These photos are from performances in Hawaii, Atlanta Pop Festival and the isle of wright . In 1969 Jimi Hendrix enlisted the help of a Tampa clothing designer to create some of his stage outfits his name is Michael Braun . This is one of the outfits that Jimi wore serval times at major concerts . Today its on display at the Experience Music Project along with the white shoes that he wore with this outfit .
