Juvenal And Persius Vol 1 1829 Book

Nice antique book - Juvenal and Persius, Volume 1. "A New Edition in two volumes, by the Rev. M. Madan" " London, Printed for T. Tegg, 73, Cheapside, 1829."

Unknown exactly how this was bound as the covers seem to be some mix of leather and an older paper. The leather on the spine is chipping away but the majority is still intact. Quality of the paper certainly feels older.

Inside there is very light moisiture staining on the edges of some pages, a few stains in the early pages and very minimal spotting on others. A lot of wrinkling to these lightweight pages.

We cannot accurately capture every aspect of this book but while it seems it has had some life to it, it also appears in nice condition considering the apparent age.
