Original WW1 French Defense Loan Poster - 30 3/8" x 47 1/4"

"Second National Defense Loan." "Advance, savings army, it's for your country."

This poster depicts a group of French civilians, depositing money at the foot of Gallia. She sits in front of Rude's sculpture of Winged Victory, dressed in the Tricolore and flanked by a semi-nude infant boy.

Protective plastic on front and cardboard on back for rigidity.
