Antique Books

Lot consists of two antique books. The first is Hans Brinker or the Silver Skates, the little boy who plugged a hole in the dike with his finger. The book does not have a copyright date and was published by M. A. Donahue & Company of Chicago. The book is in good condition.

The second book is The Calling of Dan Matthew by Harold Bell Wright. Wright was one of the most successful American authors of the early 20th century. Another book by Wright, The Shepherd of the Hills, set in Branson Missouri, was responsible for helping make that area a major tourist attraction. This book, copyrighted and published in 1909 has damage to the cover.
