Legendary WWII, Korea and Vietnam veteran, Victor Harold Krulak (January 7, 1913 – December 29, 2008) was a decorated United States Marine Corps officer who saw action in World War II, Korea and Vietnam. Krulak, considered a visionary by fellow Marines, was the author of First to Fight: An Inside View of the U.S. Marine Corps and the father of the 31st Commandant of the Marine Corps, General Charles C. Krulak.
During his expansive career through WW2, Korea and Vietnam, Krulak commanded marines in many of the battles that would define U.S. military history. From the Battle of Okinawa to the DMZ of Vietnam, Krulak served his country with distinction. His awards include the Navy Cross, the Legion of Merit, the Purple Heart, and various campaign medals from his time in the service.
We have the great honor of offering you his mess kit from the Vietnam War, given to a collector directly by his son. The kit is in great condition, labeled with his name and with most of the contents being present. This artifact of history is ready to find it's forever home with a knowledgeable U.S.M.C. collector.

SHIPPING ONLY
Shipping is charged in increments of $15 per 4lbs, regardless of
destination. The size, weight and quantity of your item(s) are
what will impact the final shipping cost. Items will be shipped
within 5 business days of the auction end.
Pricing example:
A set of patches and a flight vest will be under 4lbs and would
cost $15.
A field radio, flight bag, and officers jacket will likely weigh around
20lbs. So, $15/4lbs x 5 (20lbs total) = $75 shipping charge.
Shipping charges are added after the invoice is paid, as a
"Recharge" and will appear on your new invoice as "Misc.
Charge".
Items that are especially heavy or require specialized packaging,
will be shipped via The UPS Store's shipping service. We will
charge a $25 handling fee, and The UPS Store will contact you to
verify the address/shipping info and to pay their shipping fee.
