Vintage Mid Century Sterling Rim Gorham Serving Tray With Phenolic Base

Here we have a great serving tray from Gorham Sterling silver company. This is a mid-century serving tray, which can be used for cocktails or serving possibly desserts or hors d’oeuvres.
The tray is made of a laminated phenolic and notes that it is impervious to alcohol, fruit acid, household, alkali, and hot liquids.

This tray has a heavy sterling silver edge and as you will see in the photographs, the Sterling imprint/marker can be seen also has a nice patina that can be polished if you wish.
The tray measures approximately 18” diameter , 2” high
