The top panels in the screen are made of a resin which actual natural flowers, herbs, seashells sand and assorted natural things are encased. During the 1950s and 60s this was all the rage you could buy glassware serving trays, and other household goods.
However, room, dividers or screens are hard to come by. This is a fairly unusual item and can be used as a headboard by attaching it to a wall and shoving your bed up against it or you can take the panels apart and use them in different places around your house. Lots of applications, lots of capabilities. The frame is either Mahogany or teak.
