This is a fine print by the late artist, William Edward deGarthe, an artist known for his illustration, mirror list and sculpting he was an artist who lived for most of his life in Peggy’s Cove, Nova Scotia.
This particular print is called ‘Loading the Lobster Traps’ – Peggy’s Cove N.S.
The artist signature is in the lower right hand corner, and his writing of the title of this print is on the left lower corner.
This print is double matted and is it soft leaf, green and oyster white. It is also framed in a silver and ebony wood frame, and is under glass. This was professionally framed from the Wall Street Gallery frame shop in Madison, Connecticut.
Total measurement of this print, including frame is approximately 19” x 21” in length.
