The complexity of the floor in the picture set a very nice firm base for the composition. Fruit in muted grays and with just a little color on the strawberries allows the picture to come forward towards you. The perspective on the table assists that feeling, which would make you feel a little off balance however, as I said earlier, the base with the geometric design allows the painting to Be very balanced, which allows your ride to circulate all around The perimeter.
The restrained use of color brings a calmness to the overall image well still making a strong impression.
