Original Marguerite Philbin Folky Watercolor Painting Of A Black Cat Near An Autumnal Tree

Here we have a very sweet watercolor on paper by folk artist Marguerite Philbin.
This watercolor has a childlike innocence to it, and has a cat relaxing near a brightly colored autumn tree, and has the very lovely colored sky.

The painting is in shades of green blue oranges and yellow of course a black cat.

This is double matted, and has a wooden frame. It is suggested that the matting be changed out as there has been foxing and some damage however, it appears to only be the matting, and not to the painting itself.

Measurements for this painting, including frame is 21 1/2” in length by 24 1/2” in height.

Notes: The watercolor itself is in very good condition. The matting will need to be changed out due to its age & wear
