Here is a nice electrified brass student lamp that was converted from whale oil to electricity It has been professionally converted. The lamp is adjustable up & down. All the parts are original except for the old burner wick was adapted to fit an electric socket. It can be converted back to original. You can see the makers label patd.1873 New York
