Here we have two wonderful items from Limoges, and Reinhold Schlegelmilch.
The first, a lovely Limoges tureen that has a beautiful spring green design swirling around the entire piece and touches of gold throughout. This item is in excellent condition, and though there is some gold wear on the item, it is ready to hold your next culinary creation. The lid accompanies the bowl and fits firmly. Please note there is no serving ladle included with this item. The terrain measures approximately 11“ x 8“ in diameter and is approximately 5” in height, and when including the lid, the entire piece measures approximately 7 3/4” in height.
The second item in the set is a beautiful serving dish that has a white and pale, pink-violet peony and green hydrangea pattern. This item also has touches of gold around the rim and the two handles. This dish would be perfect for serving such things as cookies
or tea sandwiches. This plate is approximately 9 1/2” in diameter.
Notes: Both items are in excellent condition commensurate with his antique age. There are no chips nor cracks with either piece inclusive of the lid of the soup tureen.
