Handcrafted Wooden Loon Made From Slippery Elmwood , Middlebury, Vt.

Here is an excellent hand, carved loon, & is crafted in what could be considered an impressionistic design. The wood is slippery elm wood, and shows its original texture towards the base of the loon.

The bill head and neck have been polished to bring out the warm golden color. It has all the information under the base of the bird.

This item was made from a slippery elm tree from James Fram, Shareham, Vermont 1984.

This is a great item sure the grace your wooden bird collection.
