Four Antique Bijou Boxes In Wood, Glass & Brass, And Gilded Metal/silver Metal

Here we have four great bijou boxes for your consideration..

The first item is actually a round wooden box. This is made out of a single piece of wood and has been highly polished on the outside. It has an ornate carved cap the fits snuggly onto the container and measures 3.00” in height by 3.00” in diameter.

The second item is a silver metal rectangular box. This box has a hinged lid that has an ornate lions face on the top of the box. Lid and hinge are in very good condition and open easily with firm closure. There is somewhere on the metal overall and gives more of a pewter like finish than silver, but is very attractive nonetheless. This box measures 4.50” x 3.25”.

The third box is in the shape of a piano. The lid of the piano opens up to show a small velveteen lined area to hide your most precious treasure. The rest of the box has a lid that one can see through covering a music box. The tune that the music box plays is ‘My Way’, a famous musical piece that was made popular by Frank Sinatra. This box measures approximately 5.00 inches X 3.75 inches X2.25 inches in height.

The last item is a glass and brass topped powder or ‘what not’ round jar/box the body of this item is a deeply embossed glass jar with a crass cap that has a raised floral design. The cap fits firmly and is in great condition and measures 3.00” in diameter at base and 3.00” in height.
