A one of a kind antique corner chair. Hand made in 1880 from an elm tree on the Yale Campus ( see picture of label). Great original finish. And a nice rush seat. Chair has been lovingly taken care of since it was made for them.
The elm tree blight killed all the elm trees in the United States and this chair was made as a result. There were originally 22 made at the time in the 1880’s.
