Here is a very interesting photograph of a mature woman in her bonnet and her Sunday finest.

The photograph is oval, matted in thin gilded paper, and also framed in a gilded wood and gesso frame.

This was made in New York by the Whittlemore Brothers ‘Looking Glass and Picture Frame’ company. The photograph within the oval frame measures an oval 14.00” x 12.00”.
