A great pair of antique items featuring a substantial cast iron tractor, and articulated cast iron cement mixer. The tractor is painted in pale gray with ‘W&K’ imprinted on back wheel. This tractor was cast in the early 1920’s by the ‘Arcade’ toy company as a promotional item for Whitehead and Kales ironworks. The wheels no longer have the original black rubber tires, however drives right along. The driver however is no longer part of the tractor and he must have taken the steering wheel with him. The original paint is in very good condition., with superb patina.Measurements: wheels are 2 1/4” in diameter, length is 5 1/2”, and height is approximately 3 1/4”. The cement mixer is made Hubley and is a ‘Wonder’ cement mixer. Made in the 1930’s with Original red paint with nickel plated oxidized, and quite functional/wheels that work, & the mixer turns and tilts with ease. Measurements: height is approximately 2 1/2” in height, and length is approximately 3 1/2” in length.
Notes: Very nice antique condition with great patina, some paint loss due to age.
