Item Description

Original eglomise’ painting of a hot air balloon or montgolfiere is all original. This little American mirror has nicely detailed acanthus carved pillars and a well detailed cornice.
Mirror itself has been replaced and it has been refinished in the 1950’s. You can see the striations in the eglomise’ ( reverse painted glass ) to the right of the balloon.
Measurements 25” x 11 1/4”

Notes: Very nice condition.
