A Large Porcelain Bijou Box Hand Painted With An Exotic Blue Bird And White Foliage

Here we have a very nice porcelain bijou box that has been handpainted.

This is a fairly large box measuring over 7.50” in diameter is approximately 3.00” in height. This is a very nice box it has been fired in black glossy ceramic, and has been hand-painted with an exotic walking bird in blue tones.

Additionally, there is hand painting in delicate white foliage around the bird, around the size of the box, and is in excellent condition.

This box also has a copper banding that holds the top of the lid securely with a hinged device , the inside of this box is also painted in a high gloss black ceramic.
