6 Antique Glass, Metal, Porcelain, & Ceramic Inkwells

Here we have six wonderful antique inkwells for your collection.
* a French porcelain inkwell with beautiful repeated design hand painted on oval porcelain.the colors include yellow, soft blue, green and rust. This is topped with a bronze cap that opens and the ‘button’ hinge closes well, with space for quill, etc. the oval measures 5.00” x 4.00” and has a signature on the base.
* A substantial clear and frosted glass inkwell, that has an intact bronze hinge, which opens/closes well. This item has clear and frosted glass in a repeat pattern, and measures 1.75” diameter ans approximately 3.00” from base to the top of this inkwell.
* A milk glass squash design inkwell., with a bronze closure that fits well.this is quite old, and the painted design has for the most part worn away. It appears there were rust toned leaves on this inkwell at one time. This measures approximately 2.00” in diameter, and approximately 2.30” from base to top of inkwell.
* A French porcelain inkwell in three pieces that holds ink at the base, with an ink well cup that can be taken out, with a cap that covers the cup. This inkwell is designed in a hexagon and painted in green, rose, navy, and yellow on a white background. This inkwell measures approximately 4.00 inches around the hexagon, and from base to top is approximately 3.00” signature reads ‘H.I.D. 432 France’.
* A clay inkwell that has a tile like texture, and has a copper metallic painted design on clear glaze. This inkwell is also quite old and has a bohemian feel, with the top to be lifted manually with no hinge. This inkwell measures 3.00” x 3.00” and cap measures 2.00” x 2.00”. This has a signature that appears to spell ‘DEEBX’ and May read ‘S. France’.
* A deep aqua glass antique-inkwell with a bronze hinge. This inkwell is a beautiful color that opens with a bronze hinge. The hinge has some play to it nevertheless is in good condition for its age. This inkwell measures 2.00” x 2.00” and has a rounded but stylized cap, and approximately 3.00” in height from base to top. Note there is a tiny clamshell chip on the base however does not take away from the overall look to the item.
