Wow! Here we have not one, but two original watercolor paintings signed by the artists.
* the first art piece is a small watercolor painted on cardboard and signed M. e. Achnett 1909. This watercolor depicts a small boat and has the water mirroring the mast, looking out to a scene that would appear to be a nearby city. The tones in this painting have been created in soft coral, teal, brown, and a rosy cream color. This has the original matting no frame no glass. as you can see from the back of this painting, the cardboard has broken down a bit over the years however, the painting itself is quite intact. This watercolor measures 8.00β x 5.50β.
* the second art piece is a that has almost a dream like quality to it. Has been painted noting trees in a meadow. This painting was created by Charles R Loomis, and appears to be painted on a cardboard like base. The painting has been done in different tones of green and has a cream tinted base. This has been originally framed with a pale olive toned textured matting adhered to the painting, with no glass and with the frame partially disengaged due to age. The painting measures approximately 16.50βin length and 10.50β in height it with mat, and does not appear that this watercolor can be disengaged from the matting.
