2 Antique Fans One With Abalone/ Hand Painted Scene & One With Celluloid /hand Painted Silk

Here are two lovely antique fans for your consideration.

* The first fan has been created with an abalone base embossed with a a gilded design on the front. This fan also has a hand painted scene on paper of men, a religious theme, and gilded edges. There are tears on the paper due to the age of this item, and a repair on the back of the fan with a type of cellophane tape. When opened the fan spans 17.00” and has a fabric tassel.
* The second fan has a base body of embossed celluloid with intricate designs in an ivory tone, and the fan material is silk painted with flowers and leaves, with the reverse side of the silk covered in a material backing. This fan is delicate and the silk painting needs to be handled carefully. When fully opened this fan measures a 16.00” span.
