2 American 19th Century Teapots (Danforth/Boardman &Boardman/hart)

Here we have 2 pewter teapots that are an excellent example of earlier pewter designs, and were produced in Connecticut and New York.

The first teapot (which is a smaller of the two) is a Danforth and a Hart ( a Connecticut teapot.). This has a rounded design with an Asian styled handle. This opens easily and has a firm spout and handle. This teapot has a small internal repair at the base of the pot, however, does not affect the integrity or imp. This measures approximately 9.00” from the base of the top of the lid, 9.50” inches from spout to handle and 4.00” diameter at the base.

The second teapot (the larger of the two) is a Danforth & Boardman design and is in great condition. This was made in New York, and has an ornate handle and spout. The lid also opens and closes well. There a tiny lift on the base that does not affect the pot integrity. The measurements of this teapot is approximately 9.00” from base to the top of the lid,
9.50” from handle to spout, and 4.00” at the base .

Notes: Very good antique condition.
