Marguerite S Pearson was a well-known Boston artist who worked both in Boston and Rockport Massachusetts. She’s extremely well-known for her wonderful portraits. I believe this is a Newcomb Macklin picture frame. It’s nice and wide and in great condition as is the oil painting itself.
The young girl in the painting name is Joan Friborg It is signed on the back .
