Stunning and very collectible and sought after vintage 1930's Mah Jongg set made by M.S.Cowen Co. These sets are highly desirable, they were considered to be one of the finest manufacturers of high quality Mah Jong sets, and this set shows the quality with gorgeous tiles in fantastic condition. The tiles are made of Catalin/Bakelite and are a soft butterscotch color (they test as Bakelite). The tiles are smooth and lovely, in fantastic condition...they are varied in color, a few are slightly darker. Includes dark brown faux crocodile leather (?) storage case and tile racks. The case is approximately 18.75” x 7.5” x 3.5”
