Westerwald pottery or stoneware is a distinctive type of salt glazed grey & cobalt blue pottery from the area of Westerwaldkreis in the Rheinland Germany. Salt glaze has a grayish white surface with a texture like an orange peel. Unmarked, Made some time c1870’s before country of origin law. In very good condition with no chips or cracks. Measures 13.75 in high, 7 in at its widest.
