About the Sale
Once upon a time there was this cool guy named Harry (We've changed his name to protect his identity). After Harry got out of the Army in the mid 60's he decided he would travel around ...view moreand follow super cool rock bands all over the place. While he did this, he collected a ton of concert posters, postcards, promo posters, album store posters, random psychedelic rock items, as well as legalization items, and other super cool stuff. Harry also had some of the band members, as well as the poster's artist sign some of them. There are a few in here that are one-of-a-kind pieces... from a certain show at a certain date with the band signing it...a poster used as a message to a famous groupie named IDA during the show...crazy stuff. To live what our customer did and to see all the shows, hang with all the bands, must have been pretty groovey!
This is true Hippie Treasure! Yes, we see a few here and there and maybe you see 10 or 15 at a sale of a collector, 30 for a serious collector....Harry has hundreds. This auction is round 1 of this collection. Let's place some bids on some great pieces of music, hippie culture, and psychedelic rock history and who knows what you may win! Harry needs a little ching to have some fun and catch a few shows after he gets his cataracts fixed. This is an awesome collection, so let's find these pieces of music and American culture history some good homes.
