Vintage 60s Cherry Elsinore Holmegaard Danish Glass Smokey Blue Carafe Bottle

A stunning Scandinavian blue glass 'Cherry Elsinore' bottle/carafe. Made by Holmegaard of Denmark and designed by Ole Winther in 1962 for Cherry Elsinore, a producer of cherry wine in Denmark. Has an embossed seal of the initials C.E. and a crown. This design is based on the earlier 1955 'Viking' design by Winther.

No flaws to note. There are bubbles and creases of glass, which is a sign of hand blown glass.
