Here is an outstanding and original, limited-edition 1983 Solomon Islands Brilliant Uncirculated Specimen Coin Set issued by the Franklin Mint. All 8 of the sealed, uncirculated coins in this coin set come as originally issued and come sealed and encased attached to the blue display card. Also included is the certificate of authenticity. The Solomon Islands is a nation of hundreds of islands in the South Pacific. What makes the Solomon Islands so significant is that the Solomon Islands is historically home to some of the fiercest and bloodiest WW2 battles in history. The Solomon Islands have many WWII-era sites like Guadalcanal, a province and one of the archipelago’s largest islands which honors fallen Allied soldiers at its US War Memorial. Among the coins that make up this set are the 10, 5, and 1 dollar coins as well as the 20, 10, 5, 2 and one cent coins. These 8 coins are unique and beautifully displayed
