Bidders are encouraged to view the items in person prior to placing their bids. Prospective bidders are asked to wait at the entrance and we will ...view morebring out each item of interest for viewing. We will also provide access to the auction catalogue using our on-site computer, so that bidders may choose the items they would like to view.
TERMS: ALL SALES ARE FINAL. All items are sold AS IS, WHERE IS. We do not accept returns, credits or exchanges. Bidders are strongly encouraged to ask any questions or attend our in-person preview to examine the items prior to bidding. Winning bidders are responsible for performing their own due diligence prior to bidding. We do our best to examine and accurately describe the items as they are presented to us. However, we cannot guarantee authenticity, type of artwork, type of metals or gemstones used in jewelry lots, or that the items are free of defects, wear and tear. Please refer to photos as part of the description. SJD Auctions will do its best to list any damage, repairs or restorations. The absence of these descriptions / conditions do not imply that the lot is in perfect condition. Most of the items SJD Auctions sells are vintage, antique or used. Please expect signs of wear consistent with age / use. We will not issue refunds or accept returns due to winning bidder's failure to look at the photos or read the descriptions. By bidding on our items you are agreeing to these terms.
BUYER'S PREMIUM: 20% for credit cards, 18% for cash or check.
PAYMENT: Payment is due upon receipt of invoice and will be charged to your credit card on file. Any other forms of payment must be approved by SJD Auctions. If you are a dealer, please upload your tax exempt certificate upon registration. If you do not have a valid tax id on file you will be charged tax.
PICKUP: Post auction, we offer two official pick-up days on Wednesday 10AM-6PM and Saturday 10AM-5PM. Please call for an appointment if you are not able to retrieve your items on the designated pickup days. The maximum allotted pickup window will be 7 days post auction. Any items left on premises past the 7 day window will automatically be forfeited by the winning bidder, along with your payment, and become the property of SJD Auctions, UNLESS YOU HAVE SCHEDULED AN APPOINTMENT TO PICKUP OR ARRANGED FOR SHIPPING.
Winning Bidders must bring help, if required, for large/ heavy items & proper packaging materials/ moving blankets for smaller items. We will provide what we can if available, but cannot guarantee that we will be able to provide packing materials.
SHIPPING: Please contact us post auction if you require shipping, so that we may add you to our list of pending shipments.

SHIPMENT OF SMALL ITEMS: Small items will be shipped via USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate Box (small, medium or large) when possible, FedEx Ground / Home Delivery, or via other USPS services such as Media Mail when appropriate. Within 2-3 days of the auction close, we will either contact you with the actual shipping cost, or in the case of larger items such as furniture, refer you to a local shipping service for a quote. Please note, we cannot provide a shipping quote until after the auction closes, when we have an exact weight and box dimension to input into the delivery database. Due to the volume of shipment requests, it may take us several days to provide a shipping invoice, which will be sent via email through Stripe.com. Once your items are packed and labeled, we will send a confirmation email to your e-mail address on file with tracking information.
Please confirm your Auction Ninja address on file is correct as we will ONLY be shipping to the shipping address on your account. Any additional cost incurred because of an incorrect address will be the responsibility of the buyer. We will bill your Auction Ninja card on file through Stripe.com, or you can pay directly through PayPal - if you choose the PayPal option, we will email you the PayPal address. We will assess a $15.00 handling fee to cover materials used / labor costs / credit card processing fees, in addition to the actual shipping cost. If the shipping invoice is not paid within 10 days of receipt, bidder agrees to forfeit the items without refund.
